Google Sign-In Integration

Enter your Google OAuth Client ID to enable real Google Sign-In for clients. If left blank or unconfigured, the website will fall back to a Mock Account Chooser dialog.

How do I create a Google Client ID?
  1. Go to the Google Cloud Console.
  2. Create a new project (e.g. "Maktabty").
  3. Navigate to OAuth consent screen, set User Type to External, and fill out required app details.
  4. Go to Credentials, click Create Credentials → OAuth client ID.
  5. Select application type as Web application.
  6. Add Authorized JavaScript origins:
    http://localhost:5500
    http://127.0.0.1:5500
  7. Click Create, copy the client ID, and paste it in the field above.
